Accessibility Statement for Aqua Oasis Initiative

Aqua Oasis Initiative is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone. We are continually improving the user experience for all visitors and strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Our goal is to provide a website that is accessible to people with disabilities. We have taken several measures to enhance our site and increase its accessibility for users, regardless of their abilities or assistive technologies.

• Clear and Consistent Navigation: We have designed our navigation to be clear, consistent, and easy to use. Users can easily find the information they are looking for, regardless of their location on the site.
• Forms Accessibility: All form elements are properly labeled and include instructions to ensure that users can easily complete and submit forms. We provide clear error messages and instructions for correcting errors.
• ARIA Attributes: We use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to provide additional information to assistive technologies about the role, state, and properties of interactive elements.
• Responsive Design: Our website is designed to be responsive, adapting to different screen sizes and devices. This ensures that users can access our content on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.

Conformance Status

The Aqua Oasis Initiative website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We are actively working to address any remaining accessibility issues and are committed to achieving full conformance with WCAG 2.1 level AA in the near future. This includes reviewing and updating existing content, as well as implementing accessibility best practices in all new content we create.

Known Accessibility Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some users may experience difficulties accessing certain content on our website. We are aware of the following potential limitations:

• Some older documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these documents or provide accessible alternatives.
• Live video streams may not always include captions. We are exploring options for providing real-time captioning in the future.
